baano birth

Baano was born at 1.18 PM, November 29, 2013.

I had an elective cesarean section at Manipal hospital in Bangalore. I really wanted to have a normal delivery. I was going to have a baby only once and it seemed in keeping with my determined and exacting personality that I bring in my child the hard way, but the natural way, just as women were supposed to do it.

However, my gynae Rita Mhaskar told us that her head was not in position and since she was full-term anyway, it was okay to cut me open and bring her out.

So we went with what the doctor said. More about the birthing process in a while but here is Baano's first photograph.

in the beginning, there was ambition.

So I start another blog. I've called it my little Baano because well, it is ABOUT my little girl Baano. I don't know whether I can keep up the writing or how frequent I will be about it but I do hope that when Baano grows up, she will see that her mother tried to capture her growing moments to save those memories and stop them from becoming blurry.
